So... Life has been busy.

I've decided to make this less of a business blog and more of a 'what I'm up to' blog, because I make so many things. If you guys want to see my shop, it's in the first post but I'm not going to post it every entry.

So, what am I making right now? Well other than fluffle puff and pony commissions, I found a new hobby I love... Drop spinning! Making my own yarn is surprisingly fun, and addictive. I've bought two spindles, and so far I've finished 3 skeins of yarn. Most are in bfl (blue faced Leicester) or merino wool.

This is yarn made out of superwash merino, made to represent Scar from The Lion King. It was my first plied
Yarn, and I like the way it turned out :) it's about 150 yards of chunky weight.

I also have wool to make Simba, too :)

I also made a dragon egg drawstring bag to try out a pattern I found on Ravelry.

The pattern is here-

I made it much bigger by using a larger weight yarn (chunky, in this case) and a larger crochet hook. I suggest sticking with worsted weight and a smaller hook, as the holes between the scales are large enough to poke a finger through with this size :P
